Community Chest Award – SHARE Platinum and Charity Bronze

The Charity Awards are presented to organisations and individuals who have made significant donations to Community Chest. These donations include outright donations, funds raised from events and contributions through SHARE, Community Chest’s monthly giving programme.

Flight Safety Foundation’s Gloria Heath Trophy

Ms Tan Siew Huay was awarded the Flight Safety Foundation’s Gloria Heath Trophy. The Gloria Heath Trophy recognises a woman for notable achievements in civil aviation, and Ms Tan is being recognised for her leadership on the international stage and for advancing aviation law and the industry.

RSAF Chief of Air Force Safety Award

Air Traffic Control Officers Tan Xin Fen Audrey and Mohd Farhan bin Mohd Taib were awarded the RSAF Chief of Air Force Safety Award for the facilitation of RSAF aircraft making emergency landing in Changi Airport

Highest Number of Trainees – Delivery of Member-ICAO Training Packages

Singapore Aviation Academy (SAA) received the “Highest Number of Trainees – Delivery of Member-ICAO Training Packages” award from ICAO at the TRAINAIR PLUS Programme Recognition Award Ceremony held in conjunction with the ICAO Global Implementation Support Symposium in Seoul, Republic of Korea, on 31 May 2023. This award is in recognition of SAA delivering 6 runs of self-developed ICAO courses in 2022, reaching out to 80 trainees from more than 40 countries.

Platinum Training Centre of Excellence

This award is given to TRAINAIR PLUS Programme (TPP) Members who are playing a leading role in a region or globally, focusing on regulatory training, and actively supporting ICAO in its capacity-building efforts and effectively assisting ICAO Member States in the implementation of the ICAO Standards and Recommended Practices (SARPs) via the extensive delivery of ICAO training.
